Medication Management

Dr. Bernadino offers ongoing Psychiatric care for patients interested in having their mental health treatments managed by a board certified Psychiatrist. She will work with you to provide you with the most up to date treatment options, taking into consideration your unique needs and considerations.

An initial appointment does not guarantee that Dr. Bernadino will be able to provide ongoing care. If she does not believe that her clinic is the best setting for your needs, she will provide you with referrals to other providers. The full intake note will also be faxed to your referring provider for their reference.

Please note that Dr. Bernadino’s practice is currently closed to new medication management patients.

How is a consultation different than medication management?

During a consultation, Dr. Bernadino will obtain a full Psychiatric history as she would for a new patient appointment. She will provide you with her diagnostic impressions and review your current and past treatments, as well as make treatment recommendations for the future. She will provide this information to you and your current prescriber, who will ultimately make treatment decisions including the prescription of any medications.

For Caregivers wanting a second opinion for your patient

In the event you would like a second opinion or would like to refer your patient for medication management, please fax a referral and your most recent progress notes to our office. Please indicate in your referral if you are a looking for a consultation or ongoing treatment. An initial appointment does not guarantee that Dr. Bernadino will be able to provide ongoing care. She will provide referrals to the patient if she does not believe that her clinic is the best option for the patient’s needs. The full consultation note will also be faxed to the referring provider.
