Other Services and Treatments
Medication Management
Dr. Bernadino offers ongoing Psychiatric care for patients interested in having their mental health treatments managed by a board certified Psychiatrist. She will work with you to provide you with the most up to date treatment options, taking into consideration your unique needs and considerations.
An initial appointment does not guarantee that Dr. Bernadino will be able to provide ongoing care. If she does not believe that her clinic is the best setting for your needs, she will provide you with referrals to other providers. The full intake note will also be faxed to your referring provider for their reference.
Please note that Dr. Bernadino’s practice is currently closed to new medication management patients.
Psychotherapy
Dr. Bernadino provides brief psychotherapy for patients who would like additional support. The frequency of these appointments is generally limited to a 30 minute appointment 1-2 times per month. For people wanting more intensive psychotherapy, she works closely with therapists in the community to help match you to a therapist who can best meet your goals for psychotherapy.
Neurofeedback, Home Neuromodulation, and Psychedelics
Camden Interventional Psychiatry currently offers remote neurofeedback via the Myndlift platform. During neurofeedback sessions, the user wears a headband which communicates real time brain wave data to the Myndlift app. The app rewards calmer, more focused states as they happen. Neurofeedback has been shown to be especially useful for treating anxiety and ADHD. Remote neurofeedback has the advantage of being able to be used from the comfort of your home. For more information on Myndlift, please visit: https://www.myndlift.com. If you are interested in setting up a consultation to discuss if neurofeedback might be helpful for you, please complete our contact form to start the process.
Home neuromodulation utilizes a weak, electrical current delivered through electrodes placed on the scalp. It is also known as tDCS (Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation). Similarly to TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation), it targets areas of the brain that tend to be less active in people with depression and anxiety. Unlike TMS, it has the advantage of being able to used in the comfort of one’s home. The Flow device received FDA approval December 2025 and is anticipated to be available by prescription later this year. Read more here. If you are interested in scheduling a consultation to learn more about tDCS, please complete our contact form.
At this time, there are several psychedelics under investigation for the treatment of depression and PTSD. It appears that Psilocybin will be the first one to receive FDA approval, possibly by early 2027. We are in the process of learning more about how this treatment might be integrated into Camden Interventional Psychiatry and will post updates as they become available.
